ESS Protocol Step Three--Part 1
Event <--> Sphere interaction
analysis (what? how? and why?)
Your
Event Sphere analysis should
include:
-
A list of the effects of the Event on
each Sphere (E > S) with reasoning and
support.
-
A list of the effects of each Sphere
on the Event (S > E) with reasoning
and support.
You
should write as many E > S and S > E interactions
as you can. These interactions should
be accurate and have depth of reasoning
and quality of support.
Note:
Use the rubric below to evaluate and improve
your Event
Sphere analysis as you complete
it. Your work will be graded based on
the rubric being applied to each interaction
you list. The rubric contains three criteria
on which each interaction will be evaluated.
These criteria include accuracy, depth
of reasoning, and quality of support.
Ratings for these criteria range from
0 to 4.
The
ratings for the three criteria will be
averaged together. For each interaction
that earns an average rating of 3 or 4
for the three criteria, you will receive
one point toward the total number of points
you can earn for this assignment. Your
teacher will determine the total number
of points available for this assignment.
ESS Protocol Step
Three--Part 2
Sphere
Sphere interaction
analysis (what? how? and why?)
Your Sphere
Sphere analysis
should include:
-
A list of the effects of each Sphere
on the other Spheres (S > S) with reasoning
and support.
You
should write as many S > S interactions
as you can. These interactions should
be accurate and have depth of reasoning
and quality of support.
-
A list of the chains of interactions
between the event and 3 or more spheres.
Combine
the E > S and S > E interactions from
Part I with the S > S > S interactions
from Part II to create as many causal
chains as you can.
Note:
Use the rubric below to evaluate and improve
your Sphere Sphere analysis as you complete it. Your
work will be graded based on the rubric
being applied to each causal chain you
list. The rubric contains three criteria
on which each causal chain will be evaluated.
These criteria include accuracy, depth
of reasoning, and quality of support.
Ratings for these criteria range from
0 to 4. The ratings for the three criteria
will be averaged together. For each causal
chain that earns an average rating of
3 or 4 for the three criteria, you will
receive one point toward the total number
of points you can earn for this assignment.
Your teacher will determine the total
number of points available for this assignment.
